Tutor Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Either he or I will buy things when we come across them on sale or at the thrift store (which is usually how we buy things) or when we know he is in desperate need of something and one of us happens to be at the store and can pick them up. We also often get clothes as gifts - that is where most of our "nice" clothes come from because we either can't afford really nice (i.e expensive) clothes plus we both tend to be very practical people and just don't think to buy dressier outfits for ourselves.
