See? I go off the board for a few days and I miss ALLLLL OF THE FUN!!!!
I certainly didn't post 'cuz I don't have the faintest idea what apoutine means or what you are all goin' on about!
-
Ditto with social groups... which I think are part of the user control panel.
-
Is it, in your opinion, okay for kids who have already seen all of NuWho?
-
I knew it had finally been released in the US, but I didn't know it was available on Netflix... off to add to the queue!!!!!
-
You're not the only one who trawls the internet for spoilers ;) Check out Blogtor Who (not too spoilery but a really fun site.

It was like Doctor Who Lite.
Only hints as to the ongoing season arc were the continue positive/negative Amy pregnancy thing and eyepatch-through-the-speakeasy lady.
The pirate captain was rather likable, really, and I think it is rather fun that he and his crew ended up as space pirates.
But did anyone else think that the Doctor took the disappearance of the TARDIS a little bit too lightly? Remember when 10 lost the TARDIS on Krop Tor? He had a crisis moment! Although 11 did hug her briefly when he found her.
Also, doesn't the TARDIS have a med bay? I thought it did... why didn't they just take Rory there? And couldn't the Doctor just have sonicked him or something? That just was too...weird.
I'm just being hyper critical, I suppose.
However, next week's episode looks FABULOUS!

Just saw this!!! Praying!!!!
-
I'm currently OBSESSED with Ben & Jerry's Creme Brulee. I won't say anymore.
-
Stopped watching 'cuz Casey's gone :( although I do like James still...but the show is nothing without Casey. I will just check out James' performance on the web today.

This is not spam. It's just little old BBB. A year ago last fall, when I turned 41, I developed the worst acne of my life. My skin had been flawless, and then WHAM! Almost overnight, I developed the worst acne. I counted 35+ major spots on my face on Christmas Day, quite a few were cystic.
And then someone on this board recommended I go to acne.org and read up.
Within a month of following the regimen suggested by the author of that website, my acne was under control. I did buy the products that he sells because they are very reasonable and much more effective than anything I tried from a department store or drug store. He does have suggestions for products that are easily accessible.
I still use the AHA regularly (though it isn't a part of his basic regimen). It's my go-to moisturizer now! I still get a hormonal breakout during my cycle, but that's only because I have become lazy about using the benzoil peroxide. If I used it religiously I wouldn't have *any* breakouts, even during my period.
-
I'm SO SO SORRY! Pregnancy heartburn was my least favorite symptom...worse than the nausea even. I got it almost every night.
-
Oh, wait wait! I see that you're a Doctor Who fan! It wasn't Vulcans! It was Daleks! We'll all be exterminated!
Exterminate! Exterminate! It's an abomination!
-
Some microwaves do have those. I suppose we could google about it, but it's more fun to speculate.
EXACTLY!!!!
I'm thinking it's alien technology. Some sort of polymer that the Vulcans left by accident that is impervious to microwaves.THAT'S IT!!! Alien tech.
Have you tried it yet? Are sparks flying? :D Is it actual metal?I am not much of a microwave user but this is interesting...
I never tried it once. Too chicken. The landlord didn't give us a manual, and I'm a RULE FOLLOWER, and I don't want to miss some special setting allowing for forbidden metal in a microwave.
-
When we moved into our rental home, the brand new microwave came with a removable metal rack inside. It is not a combo convection/microwave, just a standard microwave. How can a metal rack be used safely in a microwave? I've been wondering about this since July, and my curiosity finally got the better of me, and I have nothing better to do tonight, so I thought I'd post this rambling question on the boards :tongue_smilie: (PMS does weird things to me...)

So what I'm hearing is that the NOVA WTMers need a coffee shop get together with knitting, crochet and book talk.
OH YEAH!!!!! I have an unfinished TARDIS Amigurumi I've been staring at for two months now, and little 10 and Rose Amis, too.... the twirling girlies have been begging me to finish them.
-
I love Amigurumi! There are lots and lots of free patterns up on ravelry. Also, the Lion Brand yarn website has tons, and really good instructions...search on key word "Amigurumi" from the drop down list.

While they don't have an intolerance or allergy to milk, it has always made their tummies a bit wobbly, so we've never pushed it. We get our calcium from other sources, and plenty of it, too: calcium fortified OJ, lots and lots of broccoli, and occasionally calcium supplements (the yummy gummy bear ones from Costco. I take them, too.)
They will occasionally have milk on cereal, but usually just eat their cereal dry. I remember what my girls's first pediatrician said: if they're going to eat vitamin fortified cereal, let 'em eat it as a snack or dry...the milk washes the vitamins off because they're sprayed on. That given, we don't eat a ton of a cereal in this house for breakfast, but that's just a heads up for those of you who do.

Must buy:
Hellman's/Best Foods mayo
French's yellow mustard
Grey Poupon dijon mustard
Heinz ketchup
Starbuck's ground coffee
Costco peanut butter
Campbell's chicken noodle soup
Funny thing, most of my brand loyal-items are condiments.

RORY IS THE MASTER?!?!?!? SCARY!!!!
You know, I thought of another supporting piece of evidence to my Rory is a Fobbed Time Lord theory. Remember when the Doctor asked him what he remembered about the 2,000 years being a centurion? He said he remembered bits, but it was LIKE A DOOR IN HIS MIND WAS CLOSED. Ten used the door metaphor when it came to reading minds. "Imagine a door. If you don't want me to look, just keep it closed."

PDG is ECSTATIC about next week. She has a thing for mermaids. She squeed, "IT HAS A MERMAID AND IT'S THE DOCTOR!!!!"
-
Sorry Stephanie, I don't watch Dr. Who but hated seeing that you had no replies.
THANKS!!! Getting some good replies in the social group! :)
Theories posted to the group. Oh! The agony of waiting for the next episode!!!:svengo:NO JOKE! Just saw this epi, and I can already hardly wait for the next! I've never been a Who-fan during an actual season before... I just started watching last summer, and I'm way too obsessed with the show now.
-
Hey MM, maybe River IS trying to shoot herself to prevent herself from killing the Doctor...but that shoots my theory to dust.
I'm very excited about the next epi! Probably TOO excited :tongue_smilie:
-
Come into The TARDIS social group and post your wacky theories... mine is reaaaaaaaaaaalllly out there!
-
I have a completely WACKY THEORY:
What if......... Rory was River and the Doctor's child? Ergo, the "time head" baby (HILARIOUS!!!) is the Doctor's GRANDDAUGHTER and that is why she is able to regenerate?
I'll be more coherent after I watch it a second, third and fourth time. Here are some clues:
1) Rory is Gaelic for "Red King." What planet was red? GALLIFREY!
2) Amy is the girl who waited -- waited for Rory as well -- 2000 years.
3) Rory "fell from the sky and into her life" (per her own words in this episode).
4) Maybe Rory is fobbed? Wouldn't that be a hoot? The whole Rory as Auton thing was just too coincidental, don't you think? How would a human Rory even remember that? He was supposed to be a machine! Rory wasn't an Auton, HE WAS A FOBBED TIMELORD!
5) Rory is a nurse, but always wanted to be a DOCTOR.
So, what do you think about my wibbly wobbly, timey wimey insane theory?
[whispering... am I crazy?]
Doctor Who movie

Okay, I watched it with the girls after asking my WhoFriends over on LiveJournal  (yes, I really am rather obsessed with DW)
There was nothing in it that was offensive... except the acting and the screenplay and what they DID TO THE DOCTOR!!!! :ack2::thumbdown::smash:
I thought it was awful... Even LLL said, "Mommy, that was DUMB!"
