[Frustrated with counting...]

One of my twin boys is having a REALLY hard time learning numbers 10-19 from sight. He can count items to figure out the number but he can't just look at the number and know what it is. Is this normal for his age? He will be 5 in April.

 

What can I do to help him get it?

Extra curricular activities such as musical instruments, not to mention dental visits and haircuts. And you can't buy just one bike, they each need one of those too!

[Learning to Read?]

My boys know the letter sounds as they actually learned them from the Letter Factory video. Just trying to find a method for the whole word thing to click with them! Lots of great advice so far, keep it coming please!!!!! And even if the advice is to try something else or back off that is ok too. It's easy to want to push them to do everything now before they are ready!

[Teaching Days of the week and months?]

I have 4-yr old boys and I can't wrap my head around a great way to teach them the days of the week and the months of the year. Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

[Learning to Read?]

What do you recommend? I have 4-yr old twin boys and I have been using Learning to Read in 100 Easy lessons but the lessons seem to be a little too advanced for them. Looking for something that is a little more basic.

 

I have been thinking of using Spell to Write and Read or the Bob Books.
