  2. How do I use the for sale area? I can't only see what is for sale but can't list anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My older ones have used Saxon with their math teacher. My oldest is fixing to go into Algebra 2 and is doing well so far. My 12 year old was doing it up until last year with the same teacher up until he started PS. We will see how he does this year! As for StarFall my DD loved it in PS this last year! I didn't think it went above 1st grade though??
  4. He has been doing One Day Academy and doing Palows English with Easy Grammer. I will church into other Easy Grammers
  5. No diagramming for Easy Grammar? That is what my son did last year I think and it was lots of diagramming. I will double check but I am pretty sure that was it.
  6. Im not sure if this is the correct place to post. I am taking my 2nd grader from PS and putting her back in HS this year. I am looking for feedback in Saxon math. Also, I am needing ideas for Language, Phonics, Reading and Spelling. I was hoping to find something that would be enforced with possibly online games. I have math online game to make it more fun but would love to find something for Language. 6th grade...looking for a good Language?? I am not found of Abeka. I am frustrated with some of the Languages out there that constantly having to diagram. I have no idea if there is anything out there without all the diagramming but if so I would like to find it. Also would love online game to enforce it as well if possible.
  7. I guess I don't mind some pen and paper. I was just thinking more online that would help grade and be more fun and engaging. I have 4 kids so I am just trying to get it all figured out what would be fun for her and easier on me. (But still some pen and paper is fine and I would be interacting if course too)
  8. No lol. Parent engaging of course! I guess I worded that wrong! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I am looking for something online that is fun and my child will learn a lot. I would like to use it fully for her schooling so want a formal curriculum. She had begged for no dvd school as it is boring for her to sit while watching a teacher in a classroom. Something that is a curriculum and fun with extra games and such is what I am looking for. Help?? Edited to add. That It will be parent interacting. I wouldn't just leave her. She is in PS this year and loves it and I want something that she will enjoy just as much as she does PS
  10. I will have a K, 5th, and 7th grader. It doesn't have to be all the same curriculum. I want it to be a good one that has worksheets for them and is fun for them to learn Doing maps and states, ect.
  11. I hope this is in the right place, if not admin please move it. I am wanting to look into Saxon math. I would like to see a few sample pages of what the student books look like inside. I can't find a place for that though. Also, What are the pros and cons of Saxon. I remember doing it in PS Middles school and it was good. I liked that our worksheets had squares on the front and back that we did our problems in and there was only 20 problems per lesson (I think) Is it still like this? Is it close to Abeka Math? This is what we have used before.
  12. Anyone ever used this that can tell me the pros and cons? I am learning toward that way but am not sure. The state of Texas did make a stipulation that your child has to go to public school for at least ONE day and then get a withdrawal form to give to K-12. Dumbest thing I have ever heard of. One day?? Really??
  13. I missplaced the answer sheet to my sons Abeka 3 Read and Think workbook. It is just the one page and I was hoping someone had it that could take a picture of it and send it to me. So annoying to have to figure it all out. lol Thanks so much!!
  14. I have a chance to use SOS for next to nothing. But I have heard a few iffy things about it. We currently use Abeka. How does it measure up to SOS? Is SOS more work than Abeka? With Abeka we are at the perfect level for dd. I don't want to set her back any. Any reviews good or bad?
  15. Thanks! Is there any Science out there that can be used for both grades?
