Hi,
Generally I don't jump in that much since I'm not homeschooling (yet!) so I hope you don't mind. I'm a children's librarian so these are mainly geared to the preschool set, but they should at least give you a jumping off point.
Grumpy Bunnies - Welch
Today I feel silly – Curtis
Pigeon has feelings too - Willems
How are you Peeling – Freymann
Lots of Feelings – Rotner
When sophie gets angry
Grumpy Bird - Tankard
Hope it helps.

Hi,
I'm new (I don't have kids and can't homeschool at the moment so I don't participate, I just read to get ideas and see what is available) and I hope you don't mind me jumping in, but I thought I could help. I'm actually a Children's Librarian and do storytime so I have about 52 different themes that could be used with at least 3 books per category (I use 3 books, 3 songs per half hour storytime) that I would be willing to give you if you can send me your email address. I also have a smaller toddler set if you wanted that as well, that only has about 2 books per category since I do more songs in their storytimes.
Sorry for the intrusion!

Disappointing day - class placements

If it's based on the children not getting along with the teacher or will have issues, feel free to go to the prinicpal especially if it's a public school. I had issues in first grade with a teacher and my mom went to try and change my class to a different teacher (this was mid way through the year so not even the first part of it) and the principal tried to tell her it couldn't be done and other BS. She told him fine she would take me out and send me to the private school down the street, since that would lose tax dollars you can bet he changed tunes fast and I was moved the following week. It's always possible, just ask and be firm if you really fee it will be an issue to your kids.
