I need some help deciding on which one to buy for my sons. They will be in 4th and 7th, but have been in public school. Sadly my 7th grader was never taught cursive at all. My other son was taught some this past year. So I need to start out on the basic level. I had thought about purchasing Horizons grade 3 penmanship then I found out R&S makes one also. So if anyone has used either one, please let me know. Thank you!

I'll be homeschooling my sons (grades 4 and 7) who have been public schooled the entire time. They were never made to have correct spelling in school. So my question is should I start them out on their current grade level or drop below? I had thought about doing grade 3 for my 4th grader and grade 5 for my 7th grader to match their Rod and Staff English books. Do you think this would be a wise choice? Thank you! Vicky

I'll be homeschooling my son that has been in public school his entire life. He will be entering 7th. My question is should I start him out in grade 5 of Rod and Staff English? He doesn't do very well in English and neither do I. I don't want to hinder him in any way. Thank you! Vicky
