Bed rest is no fun. I listened to lots of music and read books while my 12 month old ate cheerios out of her baby bath tub.

When debt is that old I would be cautious in paying it. Sometimes you can open yourself up to a lot of "interest and penalties." Not to mention that the company that is threatening you many not actually hold the debt any more. I would do LOTS of research before paying.

I don't care how its loaded as long as you run it after you load it! Dh is terrible about loading the dishwasher and not running it because "there is room for more." A spoon or fork is not "more." :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:

I would also recommend Mackinac Island Michigan. It is a beautiful place to visit. The Grand Hotel was wonderful. That is where they filmed the movie Somewhere in Time.

I have had multiple family members have surgery with great success. In fact I was considering it as well before my insurance was changed. I am willing to try anything that improves my quality of life.

Go before lunch. Look at car you want. Make your offer leaving your phone number. Wait for them to call and be willing to negotiate.
We bought a new van in October and this worked wonderfully well. After doing some research on the cost of new and year old prices of the model we wanted I picked a number that I was willing to pay. When we first went to the dealership I took the price I was willing to pay and subtracted $2000 for my first offer. When they said no we left but left our number. We drove 10 minutes to a nearby restaurant and before we could order the saleman was asking if we could come back to discuss it further. By leaving for lunch it showed them that we were not locked into this vehicle or their dealership. After lunch they we went back and forth on price for a while longer but as the price got closer to what we were willing to pay I then requested they throw in things at no cost such as the cargo net for the back. It was an all day process but we ended up paying about $500 less than what I had planned plus I got the cargo net :)

Ds has trouble with holidays so we break them down and celebrate a little over several days. For Christmas its actually a 3 day holiday for us with a couple of days in between. We have Christmas with the inlaws, then a little Christmas with just our family then Christmas eve with my family. It helps by not having a whole day that is out of the norm.

If it would work for your family go for it. I have a large Little Tykes castle in what is supposed to be the living room. Ds has lung issues and if the weather is too hot or too cold it makes breathing very difficult for him. We set that room up so he could run, climb and bounce year round. When he gets a little older it may easily become a lego room.

Depends on the condition of the person. If the body is in ok shape it can clear in a week or so. If in poor shape it may not go down without pharmacological intervention. For others this becomes their new normal because the body has found that it can shunt extra fluids to those places.

Make each room a different colored tape. That way when you unload you can take the boxes to the correct room by looking at the tape.
