  1. right. i mean not strictly "young earth."

    our kids are young, but i like to plan ahead. :) i want to start with something that they can chew on now and then present all theories and ideas when they're older. apologia is the science used in the curriculum we are starting with.

  2. this fall will be our first curriculum-structured homeschooling experience, and i know i'm jumping the gun here, but i was wondering what you parents do with your kids during summer vacation?

     

    do you school year-round with small breaks here and there? do you have "school-lite" in the summer months? or nothing at all?

  3. (this is my first ever post on these boards!)

     

    i was going back and forth between My Father's World kindergarten and Veritas Press kindergarten. I was impressed with both of the curriculums at this year's convention, and wanted to teach them both! we ended up purchasing the My Father's World curriculum, and i'm reading through it and preparing for our first year of homeschooling in september.

     

    so i guess i was pretty confident with a side of worry at this (first!) curriculum purchase.
