  1. Hi everyone! I am using the BJUPress 6th grade complete distance learning program. Most of the subjects come with a "record of grades" , But there are few that do not like Heritage studies, handwriting, math, bible and spelling. I would like to know if anyone has record of grades made up for these subjects that they would like to share with me. I am so confused and I don't have the first clue as how to make them myself. Please if anyone could help me, I would so, so, so appreciate it very much. Thanks!

  2. Thank you all for your input. I did not know they were not accredited. What about the Abeka dvd? I thought they too had an accredited version? I am sooo confused at the moment. I just don't know what to do for my 9th grader. I don't want to mess up anything as far as her being able to attend college. I don't know anything about transcripts and what all else you need for college. It seems as though she was just in 3rd grade, and now we are facing HIGH SCHOOL! I never even thought I would consider homeschooling at this grade, I always said I would put her in private school for high school. Maybe I should, this is just so overwhelming. I just don't know what to do.

  3. Has anyone used the accredited version of the BJU distance learning? I am considering it this year for 9th grade. I need an "out of the box" curriculum because I dont even know where to start putting one together myself. I used the 8th grade hard drive version last year, but I am very nervous about the highschool transcript, that is why I am considering the accredited version. I am just wanting to know what all is involved, what do I need to send in, etc. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

  4. Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows if my 8th grader should be taking any specific tests this year. Seems like when I was in school (long ago :001_smile:) there were state tests that we took. I am in Illinois by the way. I don't want to miss anything that I should be doing, I can't seem to find out anything online. Any input? THanks so much!!!

  5. I am running behind on getting the school year together and I am struggling with a decision. I am used to using Abeka complete curriculum, I have used it for 5 years, but some subjects are just getting too hard for me to teach my kids and I feel they would "get it" better if there was an instructor explaining things. I know that Abeka has a dvd option, but I have heard that it is boring and dull. I have been checking into the BJU hard drive curriculum, and would like to know if anyone hear uses it and what your take is on it? Is it truely everything that I will need for the school year? What other supplies would I have to purchase? Does it keep the kids interested and do the instructors really help? And is the BJU curriculum advanced like the Abeka? Please, any help is very appreciated. Thanks!
