Don't know the details, but he seems mostly at fault. Did they not look in his vehicle at all? It seems like they would have just in case he wasn't alone. Poor dog. :(

My favorite pool care website is http://www.troublefreepool.com/index.html
If anyone could answer your pool questions, they could. HTH :)

We call them cold drinks.

X-men?
I use instantwatcher.com when I can't decide what to watch. It shows everything that is on Netflix.

If the cat can't stay in the house, you could build a cat enclosure. Google "cat enclosure" for lots of pictures of them. Some are really neat and don't look that hard to build!

I think that it's dangerous to send a cat out WITH a collar. Cats climb all the time, and can literally hang themselves by their collars. I would never do that unless it was some kind of quick release collar.
The cat was yours, and it came home to you.
I don't like the idea of the skull and crossbones on the new collar. It sounds to me like the cat was pretty restrained and got away and came back to you as soon as it could. As tame as it was, the new 'owner' had to have known that it belonged to someone who might miss it.
Under those circumstances I would keep the cat. If I called the number on the tag, it would be to say that this is our cat, and that you just wanted to make sure that they got their collar back if they wanted it. (Nicely, though.)

Outgrow it? By age EIGHT? They are just starting to hit their groove then.

We have a plastic garage cabinet that we use to store our craft supplies. We use clear shoe boxes to keep everything separate.

I love my 12qt Tramontina from Walmart. I made a BIG pot of chili yesterday.

I know! The last time I remember clapping was when we watched The Princess Bride in our park last summer. EVERYONE clapped. It was great!
It seems like everyone is in a hurry to get out of theaters. Our family likes to sit and watch the credits. Many times, the theater people want to rush us out by turning on the lights and changing the garbage. I hate when they do that!

I drive a Dodge Grand Caravan. It seats 7 people. It's been a great vehicle and is also big enough to haul things, like a twin bed set that I bought. :)

I have YouVersion Bible and DailyBible. DailyBible has 7 versions, including NASB.
:)
Edited to say these are Android apps. Not sure if they are available for other smartphones.

She was in tears over hearing that her Pillow Pet (which she's been asking for for months) was a "baby toy" according to her friend's 9 yo brother (and, sadly, her friend agreed).
The Pillow Pet was her favorite gift yesterday. And today she was sobbing (at home) begging me to return it to the store because of what those dippy kids said. She's okay now that DH comforted her and pointed that sometimes boys that age are dumb and say stupid things just be mean and get a reaction.
How screwed up is our culture that a 7 yo feels ashamed of playing with a stuffed animal?
A baby toy?? Tell her that my almost 18 year old dd wanted one for Christmas! She loves the penguin one. :)

I don't know if you said how old this girl is or not. Are you sure it's bragging? Are you sure it's not just being excited about what she got for Christmas?
I think a lot of people on these boards are reading too much into children getting numerous or expensive gifts. I don't think anyone needs to be made to feel guilty because they splurged on this one day a year. Kids get excited and yes, maybe brag to their friends what about what they received. So what?

Look them up on Amazon. The reviews really helped me decide what to get for my 10ds. I ended up buying the Stampede and another one I can't remember the name. It was a clear gun from Target.
My mom bought a Nerf bow and arrow set for our 10ds. He's going to love it!

I'm finding that a lot of books on Amazon are cheaper on Walmart's website. I've ordered quite a few for Christmas and am having them shipped to the store.
As for toys, they seem to be cheaper on Amazon.

We had our cable turned off...the Duggars are the ONE show I miss. ;)
Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix! :)

Cool! Stuff like that is so neat!
A couple of years ago, we killed a huge cave cricket in our basement. When I went to pick it up, I saw that it had a worm coming out of it. The kids and I Googled it and found out that it was a Gordian worm. It didn't live long after the cricket died.
We still have it in a specimen bottle. :)

I saw a listing for a truck a couple of days ago. Nice truck, just needed new roaders. :001_rolleyes:

I downloaded spybot from it's website. I found the hint about disabling the proxy setting for the internet connection on the other website.
Oh, ok. Sorry, I read it wrong.
Glad you were able to fix it! Take that Best Buy! :)
