  1. Thank you so much for the answers! I am VERY NEW to putting together my own course - but I am starting to research on here what others have done. (Thank you Debbie for suggesting that). I've seen elective science courses listed in other threads such as: earth science, meteorology, marine biology, anatomy and physiology, zoology, botany, environmental, forensic, etc. What I can't find is what courses are good and where to buy them from. Has anyone used some interesting high school level courses that you can recommend? I don't want to outsource - I want something to buy that he can do at home. Any ideas? Thank you!
  3. Oh, I forgot to say - the ages are about 7 to 11, but I am sure my older kids will read them too.

  5. I'm trying to find picture books for the 1900's up until now and need ideas on where to look for ideas or how to find them at the library. If you already know of some, that would be great! My list so far only has few: Hanna's Cold Winter The Yellow Star The Whispering Town The Bravest Cat Christmas in the Trenches Can anyone help? Thank you! Lynn
