  1. I was thinking of these enamelware tiffins on ebay:

It is probabaly a good thing that they are not safe for food storage (Thanks Michelle!) b/c they are way too expensive for a lunchbox!

    But, they are very cool.

  2. Ya'll found some great options! Thank you!

I also found some wooden bento boxes on ebay.

There is this one that has stainless steel containers stored in a plastic thermos so that it stays warm:

I would love to buy one of these:

They are gorgeous! Do you think old enamelware is safe to use?

I will probably end up ordering the one from Pearl River that someone listed above or this to go ware one:

  3. will call every week (With all those new smilies, there is not one with his fingers in this ears to show that I am blindly going to believe this no matter what you say till my three little boys grow up and never call me.)

That being said, my brother who is a college junior has called me three times: (and no, none of those times was after he received a care package from me) once he thought he had a hernia, once for my dd's birthday, and once when he wanted a recipe to cook dinner for a girl!

    I love him anyway.:001_smile:

  4. And how you use what you learned in your homeschool? :bigear: I would like to go the route of more self-satisfaction than completed to please the teacher.

However, I have found my dd(7) does a much better job if she knows that daddy or Grandma will be seeing her work. There is a night and day difference in her work when she is being held accountable to someone and when she is not.

    Any thoughts for me?

    Thanks!

  5. When I was thirteen my mom taught me to pluck my eyebrows & wax my own lip.

Somewhere towards the end of high school I switched to doing cream on my lip.

Recently, the creams have stopped working for me so I have switched to getting my lip waxed every two weeks (only $5). I also have started having my eyebrows shaped professionally maybe three times a year (but I go to a high end salon for that so it is more expensive ... maybe $25?)

I am a hairy person. And yes I have recently started getting the long dark hairs on my chin. I will be one heck of a scary looking old lady!

  6. I recently ordered the Cycle 1 Powerpoint CD, Audio CD, & Old Testament & Ancient Egypt History Cards.

I primarily wanted the program to facilitate memorizing history facts.

I was surprised at how the history sentences seem to be rather random. How are these supposed to be used?

Also, is the timeline chant (that I've seen on youtube) simply a memorization of the history cards?

    Thanks.
