[Combining science programs?]

Has anybody ever comblined Apologia biology with the Miller/Levine text? :lol:

My dd is most likely going to be homeschooled next year for 9th grade due to medical issues.

 

She WANTS to return to school in 10th is she is healthy....but this school and most others I find are mis-informed or biased against homeschoolers.

 

I do not want to use a "boxed" curriculum. How can I go about documenting and not having troubles if she wants to return to school in the future???

 

I guess my MAIN question is: have any of you ever selected different curriculums that are accredited? I just want to do what I want to do....not what I have to do to make a school happy....make sense??:confused:

I am new here. We homeschooled about 4 years ago. I need to hs my dd (14) because she has a chronic auto-immune disease....

 

Here is what I am thinking about for her:

 

Biology: take at cc, oak meadow bio?? Really struggling with this one. I would like one with labs.

 

Eng: IEW

 

Math: Geometry, most likely TT

 

World History: TOG? MFW?

 

French: Rosetta stone
