I have Follicular Degeneration Syndrome ie, my hair follicles die out prematurely. I have been taking tumeric for about a year now and it has worked wonders.

I have asked why they think bullies only show up at schools. My children have dealt with it on playgrounds, in classes, etc. It isn't like b/c we homeschool we are home all the time or they are around me all the time (drop off classes). I mean the same bullies go out on the weekends, or after school and do sports. We live in the same world after all..lol.
Exactly!

Done. I look forward to reading the results.

Mine does that when she wants fresh drinking water straight from the tap. She sits on our bathroom counter at 4-5 am yeowling until we get up and turn the tap on for her to drink from. All day long she drinks from her bowl, but in the morning she wants running water.
Oh my. My cat does the exact same thing for about a week stretch and then she takes a break. Really, really annoying.

Hi Kareni,
I did see that post (which gave exactly the kind of information I'm looking for) but I wondered if anyone else had a similar impression or a different one.
Anyone :bigear:

That would be great. As we don't live in the US, I'm not sure a visit will be feasible.

Hi All,
My daughter is entering her final year and we are getting ready to apply to colleges.
We looked at Elon University and really loved all that the school has to offer. Can anyone tell me a little bit more about the school, students,
surrounding area etc?
Thanks

This is the one I have and I love it. The light is especially wonderful for those low light situations.
This is the one that I have. Really good at protecting my Kindle against spills.
The light comes in handy as well.

"Depends if you mean socialization or socializing. Socialization, the process of learning the values, norms, behavior and skills of one's culture is something I feel is best learned from being around adult members of the culture. Expecting children to learn those things from other children seems a bit like the Lord of the Flies. Now, I do think kids need time to socialize, and to that purpose he plays with friends in the neighborhood every day afterschool, attends a park day once a week with our homeschool group, will be going on field trips 1-2 times a month, and will participate in service projects once a month. We are also looking into 4-H."

...care for a baby to set your heart aflutter. I disagree.
There's nothing like seeing your husband care for *your* elderly mother, while she struggles with dementia, to send you right over the top :001_wub:.
I couldn't ask for a better man.
I just had to share that today.

I really, really need to start working out but I fear I lack the will power. Is there any space in the group for someone like me?
I need others to keep me accountible.

Yep. Mom-cliques and girl-cliques. And many of the cliquey girls are daughters of the cliquey moms.
I saw this quite a bit when we first started homeschooling.

Thanks all.
How many hours did she spend on the class? I'd go with one credit for 130-160 hours, half credit for half that much time. She spent approximately 72 hours on the class so that works out to 0.5 credit.

My daughter recently took a conversational french class with TPS. This class was for the school year and no grade was given. Is it appropriate for me to assign credit on her transcript for this class? If so, how much credit should I give?
Thanks

For the same reason they have to have an empty seat between them at the movie theater. :D
LOL. This is so true.

My son is 6'4" with a 28 waist. Shopping for him is an exercise in frustration! JC Penney online and J. Crew are the only places where I've had success.

:grouphug: Praying for you.
