  1. Yes, he had to do it the same way everybody else did. I remember in 1b there were some tiny bits of multiplications, but we just used it "to cement" our skip counting! Sorry OP for hijacking your post!
  2. Dance Mat Typing here too. I just need to find some speed games to go with it.
  3. We never bought TM for Horizons 1, and there are no need in it, so far... We do own Horizons K TM but never used it. So don't buy it, save $$!
  4. I like how Singapore teaches addition and subtractions (obviously we did not get any further yet). While we do Horizons we use the way Singapore tells us to. I even taught my 9 year old "the easy way" (Singapore) to do addition and subtractions, but he got in trouble for this at school. But that's another story...:tongue_smilie:
  5. :iagree:I do not know what is our supplement or what is main program but we also do both. When we were done with Singapore 1a and 1b we just went to Horizons 1. That way it does not seems that he is going too fast and it works for us.
  6. Sorry, it should be fixed now. And thank you, it's lots of fun reading the forum!
  7. I m new here, but I'll give it try. Kids were very excited to see this! http://littlebadgersacademy.blogspot.com/2009/12/w.html
