  1. I thank you both so much for taking your time to answer! I really appreciate it! 🙏 It's sound advice!
  2. Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm seeking advice on the Writing with Ease curriculum. English being my second language I always question myself when it comes to teaching language arts. My son is 9. I've homeschooled him his entire life. We are just finishing 3rd grade and I've decided to source my own curriculum for 4th grade. I would like to do narration exercises from language arts, history and science, so I don't necessarily need a workbook. I'm interested in WWE, but the placement test doesn't seem to download and I'm having a hard time determining which level we should start with. Has anyone here used the Complete Writer guide book? Does it give enough examples and guidance on sentence construction? We've done copywork and dictation in earlier grades and now he's able to put his thoughts in sentences, keep them in his head and write them down. Spelling and punctuation is ciming along, but not yet automatic. So, I think he is doing well enough for his grade level, however, I feel like I need some guidance on how to progress from here. At what pint would I start using Writing with Skill? I don't want to rush it, I'm just curious if perhaps we're ready for it... I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance! 😊
