Do you think the writing is too heavy for a 7 yr old?

I think specifically grammar and composition. We do classical conversations so she will get both in the future but I’m just trying to figure out what to teach her these next two years and she seems to moving quickly.

I have a 7 yr old who is a very independent learner. We will be in 3rd grade curriculum this next year. Does anyone have a suggestion for a more independent language arts program? Also, any suggestions for those who have an independent learner are welcomed.
