  1. Ooh, I have a picture of my Princess on here now!

    Thanks for the welcome!

I live on St. Thomas, which is a territory of the United States. The beaches look exactly how they look on TV. Fruit and coconuts really grow all over the place. It's fabulous.:) I used my first smiley. I feel like a larva already.

We eat a lot of stewed meat and rice. We also eat green bananas, which are unripened bananas which are boiled.

I wish we woman would admit that we do not look good in tiny shirts/baby T's/shirts that are way too small for us. They get caught in rolls, draw attention to bulges, and when a woman sits down the shirt rides up and everyone can see their back, panties or plumber's crack. Tiny shirts are not working out for us. Let's not wear them. Just say no to baby T's.

  2. Bikinis can be worn by anyone, but only on the beach. Shopping for jewlery, miles from the beach in a bikini is tacky.

I don't drive so I don't have a reason to rant about shopping carts rolling around the supermarket parking lots.

My mother in law is not evil - but she's no saint.

Catholics are Christian. I don't know much about Mormonism.

I missed the plastic surgery threads. My friend had a breast lift and she just looked like she bought better bras.

  3. This is my first post. I have lurked here for a couple years, so I think I have an idea of what you might want to know about me.

    I am Christian.

I breastfed and am a La Leche League Leader.

I occasionally spank a little, but I usually feel disturbed by posts from very enthusiastic spankers.

I really do live in the Carribean. I was born and raised in the United States.

I have read The Well Trained Mind. I plan on not doing Latin - ever.

I made noise when I was in labor.

I am poor enough so that sometimes I do eat Spam and cheap hot dogs, and use cheap toilet paper - and I am grateful to be able to do so.

I will do all I can to be able to homeschool all the way. There is no question in my mind about whether school would be better for my children than homeschooling.

I have a BS degree in Elementary Education. I am not working (outside the home, for pay) I love being a stay-at-home mom and do not want to work outside the home.

So, that is me - Caribbean Queen.
