Hi everyone! My name is Elisabeth. My family and I live in Jacksonville Florida. I work outside the home and my husband homeschools our daughter, who is 9. We have homeschooled since kindergarten and we love it. I have a job opportunity in the Orlando area (Lake Mary). If I take the job, we need to decide if we would live in Seminole County, where my office would be, or live in Orange County. Homeschooling impact would be the major factor in this decision. Ease of working with the school board, good libraries, and especially an active, secular homeschool group/co-op. We are in great homeschool co-op here in Jax and my husband and daughter will really miss it, so we want to find a new group as soon as possible. I'm willing to have a longer commute to work if it means a better homeschool experience. We would also be looking for a great Girl Scout troop.
