  1. Thank you. I think I will go back to my original plan and do lit. My problem is I start second guessing everything and worry g it's too much.
  2. If my daughter is doing WTMA Rhetoric 1, do you think we need a separate lit program as well? We will be reading classics to along with world history, but I know they do lit analysis in the WTMA writing classes. Just not sure it will be enough I guess.
  3. This is my feeling, too. The OCD part of me feels like we must finish them because we have them. Thanks!
  4. Hi. This is my first post, but I have been lurking around here for years. :D I have a rising 9th grader who has been homeschooled from the beginning. We have used Rod & Staff English from the start and she is finishing up book 8 now. She is also in her 3rd year of Expository Writing at the WTMA and will be moving into Rhetoric 1 in the fall. She also wants to take a creative writing class as an elective. I had planned to continue on with R&S 9/10, but as I'm planning out her schedule for next year, and figuring out the credits, I'm wondering if the R&S might be a little overkill and wondering if it's time to drop it. She is (and has always been) very strong in grammar. We stopped doing the writing assignments last year, since she was getting her writing via WTMA. Here is what I have planned for her. I would love some feedback as high school is new territory for me. Thanks! Geometry World History Biology German II (WTMA) Rhetoric I (WTMA) Creative Writing (WTMA) R&S English 9/10
