  1. Yes the same thing actually happened to my son last summer he got tested for having mono and the spot test came back positive and then we did more blood work at his primary doctor and the results came back as negative. We figured it was the same thing this time but both tests came back as positive this time. It’s weird because when this happened last summer he had almost all of the symptoms of mono for 2 weeks
  2. Thank you. He also plays college baseball and the doctors are telling him he won’t be able to play for 6 weeks but if he feels like this the entire time I couldn’t see why he wouldn’t be allowed to play.
  3. My 18 year old son has has strep throat on and off 4 times in the last 3 months. Last week his throat swelled up again and became painful so he went to the doctor and he didn’t have strep but a mono spot test came back positive. He got blood work done to confirm he has mono and now he isn’t experiencing any symptoms of mono he has lots of energy his throat pain and most of the swelling went away and doesn’t have a fever, has anyone heard of anything like this?
