NormaElle
What picture book adaptations of Shakespeare do you recommend? I don't mean to read to little kids, but for upper elementary and middle school. My kids enjoyed our Shakespeare readings, and we'd love to do more. We read Bruce Coville's A Midsummer's Night Dream and liked it. I'd like to do more but don't want to waste my time with mediocre books. Thanks! SilverMoon
For middle school we liked Shakespeare Stories by Leon Garfield. It's two volumes that are illustrated, but not every page like a picture book. Edited October 2, 2017 by SilverMoon
Hobbes
Honestly, all the Bruce Coville ones are far and above all the other versions I've seen. Beyond being great Shakespeare adaptations, they are favourite picture books in our family (high praise).
