nansk Posted August 31, 2015 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Not sure about RLTL in particular, but if you take any American phonics programme, you will have to modify some sounds while teaching your dc. e.g. In American phonics, 'a' makes 3 sounds - cat, ate, father You have to teach the child that 'a' makes 4 sounds - cat, ate, father, water.
