Eglantine
Hello, I have a daughter who is 12, and an advanced writer. When we did standardized testing for the first time last spring, she tested at the advanced 12th-grade level for reading. She has already written a few short plays, poetry, and is working on some stories, and I think a short opera with her friend. We use the writing program from Classical Academic Press, which I love, though we started it late so she's just on the second level. I have been wondering if I should get her to a conference for children's authors maybe, or try an online course, just to be sure we're leaning in on something she really enjoys and excels at. Even a series of lectures on YouTube might be fun, if the author is engaging and not too academic. Any suggestions?
