Heather in Savannah Posted September 11, 2008 Share Posted September 11, 2008 We cannot obtain Individual Policy medical insurance because 3 of the 4 members in our family have non-lifestyle induced pre-existing conditions. I have explored every avenue I can think of....changing jobs is not an option as we are on company specific work visa's(this company does not offer medical). A friend forwarded me a link to this ministry/organization and I know there are others like Samaritan Ministries. I would appreciate hearing your experiences. Under these rules, pre-existing conditions are still not covered, so I'm not sure that this is a viable option if that is the issue. They usually have an 800 number that you can call and ask questions. They would be able to tell you exactly what they offer under your circumstances. They have covered surgeries and hospital admissions and emergency room visits and have never failed to come through for us. Do you have any specific questions? I'll do my best to help you out!
