We are making cookies to give to the teacher and I want to give him a check inside a card as well. He just had to have surgery and he had to miss about a month of lessons- so I'm sure the extra $ would be welcome. So, what do you think I should give him? He comes to our home and we pay $30 a week/$120 a month, and he's been teaching DS for about 3 years now- and we love him, he's a great teacher. What do you guys think? danybug Posted December 24, 2013 Share Posted December 24, 2013 I think that would be wonderful and much appreciated. It all depends on what you are financially capable of. When my son was taking drum lessons our gift was around $25. But if you could swing it $50 probably would be such a blessing since the medical issues impacted his income.
