adrienne
I've two upcoming 4th graders that just completed CW Aesop A last year. They did very well with the program and will be starting B this fall. We dropped FLL when we started CW, as I thought that would be enough grammer. They did complete FLL1/2 during first and 2nd grades; we skipped FLL3 last year since we were doing CW. I think I'd like to return to FLL, in addition to CW, to ensure a thorough grammer foundation. Having a workbook also makes it nice. I was told that FLL3 offers sentence diagramming and that I may want to go back and complete it before doing FLL4. My question, can I skip FLL3 and jump to FLL4? Would I be missing anything foundational, even having done parts of speech and basic grammer with CW Aesop? Thank you for any help or suggestions :) Adrienne
FlockOfSillies
I'm not sure, since FLL4 hasn't actually been released yet. I'm guessing you probably could, but you might want to look up the scope and sequence for FLL3 and see whether you've already covered most of it. Zelda
I haven't seen FLL4 yet so I can't say but I don't think that FLL3 would be too repetitive with the possible exception of the very beginning.
