What I like: * Workbook format * User-friendly and minimal work for me :) * Mainly vocabulary-focused * Preferably engaging and not too dry * my main reason for wanting them to study Latin is to improve vocabulary test scores I'm looking at Galore Park - Latin Prep. Cassy Posted June 20, 2012 Share Posted June 20, 2012 DS11 has loved Galore Park Latin Prep. It's definitely not dry. I have had to work through it with him though, which at times has felt like quite hard work (my brain is not quite as quick as it was :tongue_smilie:), but has mostly been enjoyable. There is quite a lot of emphasis on declensions and cases, etc, more than vocab, so there's an awful lot to memorise which won't really help with vocab test scores. Minimus was quite good for vocab, but probably a bit young for your dc, and DS11 really didn't like Minimus, although I thought it was good fun.
