amtmcm
I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but my oldest did TT Alg I and TT Alg II in one year in 8th grade. Basically, I had him take the tests on the first few chapters of Alg I until he didn't make a 100 anymore. I'm sorry I don't remember now, but I know he got to skip quite a few chapters. Then he got to a point where he looked and said, I don't know this and he started there. I did the same thing with Alg II. A lot of the first few chapters were identical to chapters in Alg I. So he just took the tests. He easily did both in that one year. I called it Alg I on his transcript. Ditto - we did the same. We didn't make it all the way through TT Alg 2, but far enough to suit me. We also called it Algebra 1. TT Geometry needs most of a year - it's not easy. Many people on WTM seem to agree it's comparable to standard Geometry texts. DD has had to apply herself to do well. She'll be using Foerster Alg 2 with VPSA in the fall.
