kbpaulie
Are you looking for preschool/ kdg? If so, good books are books used by Five in a Row. Or you can look at Honey for a Child's Heart to get a good list. It's been a while since we did this so I won't be much help. I'm mostly bumping. ... and now re-reading your post and see you're not looking for book suggestions but a book on activities, so I didn't answer at all:tongue_smilie: Edited March 13, 2012 by kmoncelle
Wildwood
Thanks for the bump :) And by the way, I am looking for circle time suggestions for K-2. Thank you.
Deee
You could look at some of the Steiner/Waldorf stuff. All Waldorf schools begin the day with circle time. This usually has a seasonal focus. Usually a song is sung, a candle lit, there are some movement activities, some recorder playing or other music, then a run through of spelling words or maths facts, depending on the age of the children and what they have been doing. Try the book "Festivals, Family and Food" or some of the Waldorf websites. You can always adapt the activities to be less "Waldorf" if its too fluffy for you :tongue_smilie: Danielle
