The narrations can just be written in the lapbook instead which is what my ds prefers (we've always completed lapbooks for science). I still use the experiment sheets though. I like the lapbooks because I don't have to make it up myself but the graphics aren't the best (hand drawn pics) but my ds doesn't like to draw for science so it will do for us.
