SkiMom
My 11 year old dd has suddenly developed an intense interest in making videos and editing them on her computer. She is also very interested in creating digital art. Does anyone know of a course, or a book or software, or something I can use to help her learn more about this? Our computer has Windows. Thanks. Guest lmf2b
We found a claymation kit at Books A Million. It came with idea book and computer software. It was $12. We plan to try it this summer. It looks very interesting.:lurk5:
scrapbabe
Klutz has some fun movie making kits/books. Also the Stop Motion Animation kit from Timberdoodle has been used TONS at my house. I've posted this before... but it's my favorite sample of what you can do with the Stop Motion Kit. We also just downloaded a 3D digital animation software with how-to lessons from Blender. I think it's blender.org Here's a discussion about Stop Motion Animation http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258203 Edited June 1, 2011 by scrapbabe
TinyTraveler
If she likes digital art then she might like making her own comic book: http://www.professorgarfield.org/comics_lab_extreme/ Then there is an animation site that is fun! http://www.doink.com/
