jlmom Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 We used it for dd6 and it didn't go well. I think RS is great if you're traveling to a country and need to speak the language. For us, the whole point of learning Latin is for the vocab and roots and RS teaches conversational Latin. Pretty impractical :) We never got past lesson 2, though. It's possible that we quit too early and it would have gotten better, but it was making her discouraged and hate Latin so we didn't want to push it. We'll start something else maybe next year.
