Guest beckywalker
I am looking for suggestions that are in line with classical teaching for beginning spanish training and also for language/grammar. My kids have had no spanish, but we have gone through Language for the thoughtful child (grade 1 and 2 book) by the Bauers. Someone had suggested Daily grams, but I wondered what other classical homeschoolers used after finishing that book by the Bauers. The older ones that I'm asking for are 7 and 8 years old. jen_white
After the elementary language books by the Bauers, we used Rod & Staff... as recommended in the WTM. We've gone through the while R&S English curriculum and LOVED it! As for Spanish, we use Rosetta Stone... as recommended by the WTM. This program is well worth the $$...but it is no longer transferable or resell-able. :(
sandra in va
We also use Rod and Staff English. Great program! For Spanish - again, we also use Rosetta Stone. For younger kids, we also use La Classe Divertida. :)
