m4given
We've used R&S for 2nd grade this year and while it did the job, it bored my boys to tears. Also, it seemed to require a lot for me to teach. Is CLE a bit more independant? My understanding: You may already be aware that CLE is in booklet form in which the student can writes in the lessons as opposed to R&S. The lessons are written directly toward the student. This is one reason people may choose to do CLE. We do the Rod & Staff grammar, but do most of it orally. For the 3rd grade book I have the practice sheets for 3rd grade grammar. Does that help any? I'm about sure more may be along to give additional input.
