thowell Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 I am thinking of using Explode The Code starting in book 4. This is for my rising 2nd grader who is a very good reader. We have used Alpha-Phonics for her phonics but I want something to keep it fresh for her. Two questions.... do you need the TE? I just go over the rules as they come up in the workbook...the only time that it might come in handy is at the end when they have a test...but you can make up the test too...what I mean by that is one of the sections is circle the word that the teacher tells you...they are all words that were used during the book...so just pick one.
