Gamom3
Dc were done with their work at 11:30am!!! Dd is still confused on Pronouns and Prepositions...I think she confuses the two "P" words. Ds still dislikes dictionary skills, but did a better job at it today. Now I need motivation to get things done in the house, I am still worn out from yesterday. Wendy in ME
Glad to hear your day went better. I gave up today and called it quits after lunch.
Aletheia Academy
I can feel your pain (from yesterday) ...and joyful relief (from today)! We were living parallel lives.

I tuck them away to draw strength from on the *other* days. :ack2: Don't know if you've tried this or not, but on the pronoun/preposition confusion, what helped my son was this: Pronoun - pro = "for", so the pronoun can be use "for the noun" Preposition - has the word "position" in it, and it tells you where something is positioned in relation to another something. I know, it's borderline taking literary license w/ the definitions, LOL. But it helped, and he has since solidified his understanding of the two words. Maybe it'll help your dd.
