My oldest went to public school for kindergarten, so this was my first year homeschooling. I did first grade with my DS7 and preK with my twins. I think it has been a pretty good year. My twins get along very well with each other. They always play very nicely when I was work with my oldest. I did phonics lessons and math lessons with the twins, plus some informal handwriting instruction and the Explode the Code primers. I didn't want to pressure them into school, but they were definitely ready for some instruction. For history, science, art and music appreciation, we combine all three kids. Obviously, we do not expect the twins to retain as much as our oldest, but we want to expose them to the topics anyway. They all like to do things together so it works pretty well. My three also play quite well together and I have really enjoyed seeing all the extra playtime they have since they are at home. HTH!
