  1. Also padded flat rate envelopes are fantastic...you can order them free from USPS...it's right around $6 to ship anything that will fit in them...I can fit some shoes, mens jeans, snowpants...well you would be surprised what you can fit in them. I often have buyers asking to ship in them because it's so much cheaper than regular Priority Mail.

  2. You can go to the USPS website and order free shipping supplies. They deliver the boxes to your home. These would be for Priority Mail...so it would depend on what you are selling. I sell on Ebay and buyer don't seem to mind paying for Priority. I use a scale and print my labels at home, labels online are a bit cheaper than at the Post Office. I use media mail for books, cds ect. Walmart is the cheapest place I have found that sells boxes locally.

  3. I am in the Baltimore area. There are a ton of great field trip ideas here...but they cost $$. I try to get the kids out anytime there is something with free or reduced admission. Here a few free or reduced trips that would be fun. Maryland Zoo--Free on Oct. 1, B&O Railroad Museum--Free on Oct. 8 & 22. Baltimore Museum of Industry--Free on Oct 6 & 20 (Those dates are Sundays), Walters Art Museum--Free everyday, Baltimore Museum of Art---Free everyday....they have fun art classes on Sundays, Maryland Science Center--$2 per person from Oct 1-18 (Tuesday through Fridays). The Science Center is offering classes to homeschoolers  on those dates. Check out Free Fall Baltimore for more free activities in October.

  4. This is actually my first time posting a topic :)  I just had to share my awesome Goodwill score with people who would understand. I just picked up the complete set, books 1-8 including the 1/2 books, of Explode the Code...for $5.00. The whole set for $5.00 in perfect condition!!!! Yay me!!!

  5. I ship using Priority Mail. Delivery confirmation is free with Priority Mail.  Stop by your local post office and pick up some free shipping supplies. For items weighing under 13oz., I use First Class mail. As a seasoned Ebay seller, I strongly recommend printing labels from home using Ebay shipping, that way tracking numbers are automatically uploaded for you.

  6. When we put our home on the market last summer the same thing happen to us. At first I was devastated...but actually it drove in more potential buyers because people would look at both of the homes. We ended up selling for 8,000 less then what we had wanted and we sold our home first. Everything will be Ok....Even a house across the street can be very different on the inside, do your best to make your home more appealing to buyers. Best of Luck.
