Not in Helena, but an hour or so south. No experience with the groups there, but from past research I think the city has a lot to offer/do. Anyway, as a Kansas transplant to Montana I just wanted to offer support and if you have any questions about Montana in general, ask away.

It speeds up my already sped up thyroid. I tried taking it because I have an enlarged yet hyperactive thyroid.
If you aren't getting any iodine you need to supplement. I've never heard anything bad about iodine and hypothyroidism.
Chris Kresser has some great information about Hashimotos and iodine. http://chriskresser.com/iodine-for-hypothyroidism-like-gasoline-on-a-fire

You might look into supplementing with D3, magnesium and selenium. These along with a gluten free diet have helped me.
BTW if I remember correctly 4.67 is definitely in the rage to medicate.

For breakfast: I will usually have one egg and some fruit or a smoothie (one banana, 2 Tbs almond butter, almond milk, and ice).
Lunch: Lettuce wrap (romaine leaf with homemade olive oil mayo, organic turkey or chicken, and veggies), salad, or apple with almond butter.
Dinner: Meat and veggies ~ either in a stir fry or a piece of meat and veggies on the side. Sometimes I will have potatoes too. Sometimes we will have fruit for dessert.
I usually try not to snack in between.
I am thinking about skipping lunches and having green tea and a TBS of coconut oil instead.
I have Hash's too. I can't lose weight if I eat fruit or potatoes. I have also read that fasting with Hash's can do more harm than good. (I can try to look up that article if you are interested.)

A few more.
Lunch: meatless salad, tuna salad, fish tacos, crab dip, egg drop soup, collard greens in broth, stuffed mushrooms, salmon patties/burgers, cream cheese salmon spread
Supper: halibut in butter sauce, shrimp creole, asian sesame salmon, captain's dinner, oven fried catfish, leek & potato soup, easy baked talapia, salmon with balsamic sauce, salmon with pecan, torsk

We try to go meatless on Friday's through the year to simplify things. So I looked over my menu and a few other recipes I have lined up to try out.
Breakfast: canned shrimp/crabmeat taco, salmon & scrambled eggs, meatless pizza frittata, eggs in purgatory, baked eggs, poached eggs with sour cream and cheese, veggie omelet, buttery eggs and leeks, broccoli quiche
Then again those could double for lunch.

Almost forgot. When you subscribe to Give Us This Day book version you get access to the online version too. I don't us it often, but it is nice to have when DH is traveling and we can't both have the book.

We have both. I would go with Give Us This Day. We really like MagnifiKid and all follow it in Mass, but I wasn't as impressed with Magnificat.
I guess the difference is that Give Us This Day seems to be geared a little more toward those of us that don't know all the ins and outs (with the little weekly summary and discussions about seasons of the church). Where Magnificat seems to be for those that know all the ins and out, not extras needed. My currently in RCIA husband prefers the Give Us This Day as does this returning Catholic.

How about a basic colored skirt and one of those tops that is like a t-shirt with a matching 'cardigan' that goes over it? Those can look dressy and might still work for nursing.

My book came yesterday and I'm in catch up mode. Hopefully I'll be over there in the next day or two.

*stares at mailbox* I'm still waiting on my book to show up.

B or A. I'm not good with email groups.

We have a subscription. DD hasn't paid much attention to it in the past, but with the response changes it is now being used.

Would you let a lurker join in? I'll try to participate and not lurk.

Grew up all over Eastern Kansas. We lived in the Emporia area before we left. We've been in Montana going on 13 years now. Ask away or feel free to message me.
