[if your college student is only 2-3hours away how often do they come home?]

I was only 2 hours from home at college, and I rarely came home except for scheduled breaks. That is until my senior year when I was engaged and my fiancee lived in my hometown. Then I came home almost every weekend.

[I need another idea for leftover ham.]

Make, purchAse or acquire pizza dough. Roll out on cookie sheet. Dice ham and mix with cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and garlic powder. Place on middle of dough and seal shut. I like to braid it but it's not necessary. Bake at 400 until browned, about 30 min.

[Ds12 has a concussion - help!]

DD recently had a concussion and the nurse told us to push fluids. She also said that the body uses up nutrients in healing, so she might need more food for a time, especially complex.carbs.

[What's on the menu for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?]

Tonight we did finger foods (we usually do this on Christmas Eve) _ crackers, cheese, raw veggies, chips and dip, pigs in a blanket, etc.

 

Christmas day will be steaks, baked potatoes, salad, garlic bread, and brownies with peppermint ice cream.
