Why is Jojoba oil and Coconut oil recommended if your not worried about wrinkles, see post #15. I thought they were recommended for that purpose, to prevent wrinkles and age related skin problem. This was talked about in a previous thread.
Sorry, still can't figure out how to paste comments and links.
For OP, how about Aveeno products.

I have been to parties with similar situations. The invite only states the name of the child they are friends with. There have been times when I show and am surprised that they are also celebrating their siblings birthday. I didn't feel obligated or uncomfortable at all since I didn't know about it. More hassle with the invites but it's totally worth it.

What about the eye area? I would love to replace my eye cream.

Thanks Larla, I think I'll stay at 2% for a while longer, if not I'll go down and see if that helps.
-
Thanks Jenn. I have been running at 2% since I started about 2 weeks ago and wonder if I should be flat or 1%. Maybe I'm trying to wimp out of 2%. I want to make it as close to outside as possible but seems that it takes me way longer running on the treadmill than walking the same distance outside. So, I'm wondering if the incline is slowing me down or its just that its so different that you almost can't really compare.
-
What is your incline for normal running? I had read before that a 2% incline is equal to outdoor running/walking. Recently I have been researching a little more and realized that many recommend 1% incline. I know its not much difference and the more I incline the better, but for long steady runs what would be best. BTW my version of long runs is 3 or 4 miles. :tongue_smilie:

Thank you ladies. I'm glad to have found a place for encouragement and inspiration.

Thank you ladies. I'll look for the books you recommended.
BTW I noticed that Born to Run had already been highly recommended here.
I should have done a search before posting, sorry.

I'm in need of some good running books can you please recommend your favorite.
Here are mine:
"Born to Run" Christopher Mc Dougall
"What I Talk About When I Talk About Running" Haruki Murakami
This are the only ones I have read and enjoyed them.

Hello, I stopped by to introduce myself. I am 42 yrs. old. In my mission to find a sport to help me get active I stumbled upon a book "Born to Run". It was very inspiring and decided to start running or try to start running. I always hated running and just didn't get it. Now, for some reason it makes sense. I haven't done any races, but look forward to train for my first 5K, even if it takes me a long time. I'm just happy to have a goal and get active again.

Thank you :001_smile:

Thank you for the reminder. We are so busy with everyday details that we forget to preserve memories. I also want to add that after rummaging for pictures for a project, I could not find pictures of the kids by themselves. Most of the pictures were in groups or too far away. Maybe its just me. Thanks

We received the date and arrival time for prep. I can't remember if they gave us the exact surgery time.

I also used Magellan for our road trip to Canada. Very easy to use.

Thank you Spycar for the link to Being on Time, I'm sure others will enjoy. My brain started hurting just looking at the content :tongue_smilie:.
Maybe I should watch Matilda more closely to get motivated to read such literature, it worked for my ds.

Thank you for all the recommendations. I should have looked at other versions before posting, but my mind just glazed over the title and thought, oh my, what is this child thinking.
I will get him an abridged version and have him listen to the audiobook if his still up to it. You never know, he might like it if its in bits and pieces.

Thanks Cinder, I should give my son the pleasure of checking it out.

I didn't want to bother with it but I might just have to show him like Kai suggested.
I might look into other versions, didn't think of that. thanks, Virginia Dawn

he was amazed at her enthusiasm for reading and now wants me to buy him the book. I can't convince him that's it's too much. He's been asking for it for 3 weeks now.

MUS - I was really disappointed with this one. At the time when I was researching math programs, everyone was raving about it. That's when I learned curr. comes in waves.
LLATL - I really wanted to love this one. I was really excited but it was way too light.
100EZ - I cracked the book opened and coudn't bare to continue looking at it. It was just me. My kids never saw it. I'm glad other have been able to use it.

Thanks, I had no idea that some co's put msg in miso. I will be on the lookout.

How about some nachos with fresh ingredients, forget about the nacho cheese.
Layered diced tomatoes, onions, scallions, favorite beans, salsa. If you really want to get down add carne asada, shredded beef or chicken. Not necessarily in that order. Like a tostada.

Thank you, I just printed my copy.
