Looks like I'll be ordering from rainbow resource. Thanks everyone.

I have glued the magnets that you get on a roll from a craft store to the tiles because I didn't want to just place an order for magnets. They keep falling off & driving me crazy! Anyone else have this issue? If I buy the magnets that go with the tiles will they stay on? Help!

Before I reinvent the wheel, I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of a chart that has been made to use the explode the code workbooks along with all about spelling. So, they are doing the ETC sheets that go along with the AAS step? Anyone know?

We use Dollar tree too

We are about 10-15 min 4 days a week. I love AAS you can modify it to your needs. You could stop any ole place you want.

Yesterday was a really hard day for me, I was exhausted and overwhelmed after a two hour medical appointment. I actually drove to my Mom's house to decompress before even going home...but then I came home to box day!
What a great way to end a really hard day. Anyone one else getting boxes?

Box Day post :001_smile:
Box day is a reason to homeschool for sure!

I try to wake up in the 7:00 hour, but I'm a night owl by nature. So, this can really vary. My almost 8 & 5 yo get their own yogurt & cereal a lot of the time & watch a show while they eat while I shower ect.

Wow, is right! Thanks!

I'd like to know what others are doing too. This is on my do do list to start doing.

Love AAS! DS does too.

I have found my people. My husband, all my best friends are crazy super planners! Opposites attract, right. So glad to know I'm not alone, or crazy!

My baby is starting kindergarten in a few weeks. She has an older brother, so she has "done school" & it's not brand new. But, I am trying to think of fun things to do to make this very important year special for her, not just tagging along with her brother's stuff. Any suggestions?

Thanks so much, I hadn't heard of these yet!

Very similar to mine

We just use the really useful boxes. You can get them at all the office stores & some Wal-Marts.

Thanks for the heads up.

We used planbook.com this year. It's designed for public school teachers, but it worked just fine for homeschooling. You can bump lessons & I loved the pretty colors.

Livingmath.net has all kinds of stuff on it. There is a games tab up top.

I'm not sure about the new IG's, but I often squeeze chapters here & there on different days. We use the five schedule & do it in four so we don't miss any books.

That does sound good. Magic School Bus is on cable daily though. Are there some episodes in the set that they don't play on TV?

Very cool!

We used it for sonlight. My kids still look at it a lot. It is a very good BB book. I found each of the 3 books individually for about $3 each. You could try that route if you don't need it to be "shiny & new"

Feeling like that is so normal. It's a lot of work! Especially when you know non homeschooling moms who just get to send them off to school & then go workout or get their hair done without kids in tow. It will be worth it though.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a list of paintings ect. that went along with SOTW2. I would love to have my 2 look at them as we go along.
