BusyMum
The two youngest have rotovirus and the baby is so miserable that he won't sleep unless he is being held so I bundled all four of us into bed this afternoon and while the younger two slept Mr6 made us peanut butter and rainbow sprinkle sandwiches and we snuggled down in bed and read The Childrens Book of Heroes out loud from front to back. At around the time I would be waking the younger two to bundle them into the car to go get their tired and scratchy older brother, we were reading the story of the Knights of the Silver Shield and talking about how sometimes the bravest battles are the ones we fight in out hearts. If Mr6 was in ps, then right about now he would be exhausted and grumpy and just want to blob in front of the TV. His brothers, likewise tired from being woken, would be so excited to see him that they would be all over him while he was watching TV which would upset and annoy him. There would be tears! But right now I have three happy rested kiddies milling around my feet playing delightfully with each other. Time for a cup of tea I think! :001_smile:
Kathleen in VA
What a lovely snapshot of your life:), although I'm sorry your littles are sick. You've reminded me once again how wonderfully natural homeschooling is. Thanks and hope your babies are well soon.
