Has anyone skipped Physical Science?

We did many cool science units until the 9th grade where my daughter then started Apologia General Science. She would like to do Bioloy this year and Advanced Biology the following year as she is interested in going into physical therapy.

 

Has anyone done this?

Yes. I didn't have anything resembling Physical Science, just started with Biology in 9th. DS did also. Dd will start with physics or chemistry.

We did lots of good science all the way along, up through middle school. In 8th ds took Anatomy at a group class and then we started bio in 9th. Were I to do it again, I'd probably start bio with him in 8th so we'd have more time for the advanced Apologia courses.

We did General Science in 7th grade with my ds, then he had an opportunity to do Biology in 8th grade with a friend/labs. Now we're in Chemistry, next year Physics. He hasn't skipped a beat.

Yes, my oldest skipped Physical Science (as will my rising 7th grader). Your dd will be much better served to move into biology.

We did, too, for whatever reason. But my girls had quite a bit of physical science in elem and middle school interspersed with their other studies.
