Anyone know the Pasta Lady?

Yes it really is. And it tastes sooo much better than the stuff you get in the store.

This guy is doing it by hand. This is how we do it generally. The only thing that you generally do (which they allude to in the clip) is after you finish the first kneed you wrap it in cling film and leave it to sit for about 45 minutes before doing the final roll and cut.

 

 

This is the mechanised version. Having seen this I'm going to give it a go with the food processor. We do have a pasta machine and while it makes things easier it's perfectly possibly to just use a rolling pin.

 

 

Once you have the hang of it you will never go back to bought pasta! We also like to make gnocchi which is also very easy.
