keptwoman
Oh what a clever woman. She's got drive huh. You don't need her though. My kids make our pasta... it's crazy easy and really really cheap. Much cheaper than 3 meals for $
nukeswife
We've never made our own pasta, is it really that easy?
keptwoman
Yes it really is. And it tastes sooo much better than the stuff you get in the store. Here's a couple of links: This guy is doing it by hand. This is how we do it generally. The only thing that you generally do (which they allude to in the clip) is after you finish the first kneed you wrap it in cling film and leave it to sit for about 45 minutes before doing the final roll and cut. This is the mechanised version. Having seen this I'm going to give it a go with the food processor. We do have a pasta machine and while it makes things easier it's perfectly possibly to just use a rolling pin. Once you have the hang of it you will never go back to bought pasta! We also like to make gnocchi which is also very easy.
