Herding Cats in NC
You can watch the live webcast of the launch of the Minotaur I rocket here. It was supposed to launch last night, but was rescheduled due to weather (& may be again tonight). The launch window is 8pm -11pm. Looks like they're looking at a launch time of about 9:28 eastern. Jennifer in MI
Thanks for the link. I mentioned to my future-rocket-scientist ds that there was a rocket launch tonight. He already knew! We were near Kennedy Space Center in January (actually there the day of and had restricted access because of it!) when they launched a rocket. They kept putting it off and putting it off . . . and then we saw it! In real life! I was jumping up and down just as much as my ds was!! We could FEEL and see it from our hotel balcony! I'll never forget it! Wishing I were there tonight!!!
LaxMom
Huh. I was hoping it had just taken off... I should be able to see it from my house. Alas, it looks like another delay due to a front. Ironically, there are high clouds and a visible moon right now.
Herding Cats in NC
Looks like they had to call it off again due to weather. I think they'll try again tomorrow night.
