tricia
My DIVE Algebra 2 DVD has a small crack in it and my computer of course won't read it. Is there someway or a business that repairs them? I thought I take my chances and ask. Thanks
Stacie
I think you may be out of luck on this one. I've never heard of successfully repairing a DVD. Can you call the company and get a replacement? As long as you've legally purchased your copy you can probably borrow one from someone else who is finished using theirs. Good luck!
Angel
Tricia, Dh works for a company that deals 24/7 with dvd's. He said that you can try to have it cleaned and then burn the cd to the hard drive and make a new cd from the hard drive. He said that it will require a lot of luck (which means it's doubtful ;)) but that is about the only way to save it. If you rent from a video store frequently, you can ask if they'll clean it for you. They have special equipment to buff out the scratches. Good luck!! You could also ask your library if they do this. One of ours does for a small charge.
