mooooom
My dd needs a green skirt (solid color but any shade green) for 4H events this summer. It must be at least knee length - but not winter weight - the shows will all be outside. She is wearing size 1 pants. Green is a really hard color to find - any online ideas? Last year my mom sewed one for her. TIA for any ideas - you'd think 4H ought to sell them.
Sparkle
Can you use a Girl Scout skirt? I found one once at a thrift store and have let my dd wear that for 4-H. It looks like they're available online from schooluniforms.com or you might be able to find one on craigslist?
bettyandbob
that's what I was going to suggest. In girl scouts, juniors (grades 4-6) where green. I'm sure an older petite girl could find a size she could wear. Some hobby shops carry girl scout clothing.
2cents
Have you checked the 4-H site? I used to get shirts and other items from them. Here's the link: http://www.4-hmall.org/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=6196
Jane in NC
So many 4-Hers know how to sew. Could you hire a fellow 4-Her to stitch a skirt for your daughter?
