Mama2Three
Hi there! I had decided on MFW K for my DD for the fall. However, after seeing some of the threads on Catholic curricula, I'd like to take a peak at those (my DH is Catholic and we are raising our DC in the Catholic faith). So I don't have to start from scratch, could someone point me in the direction of a curricula that would be similar to the approach of MFW K (CM and classical) but with a Catholic spin? Thanks! Faithr
I don't know if this is classical or not (I don't know that one needs to be classical in Kindergarten!) but Catholic Heritage Curriculum has what looks like a very well laid out, cheerful, sweet, cozy program. I haven't used the K program but if it is like their second and 4th grade curriculum which I have been using this year, it is a very creative and loving curriculum. And I'll be using their 3rd and 5th grade for next year. I add in my own Latin and Greek and LCC read alouds. calandalsmom
Im not at all familiar with MFW but we have used these classical suggestions (but not the exact plan) in our catholic home www.materamabilis.org

LatinLover
You might want to check out St. Thomas Aquinas Academy...Catholic, Classical and very CMish. Their staff is wonderful, too!
